Collaborative synergy: Building an energy geography resource hub

Library and geography faculty at our institution consistently partner on integrating information literacy academic research skills into courses. Librarians typically create course guides as part of that effort. During the 2021–2022 year, we—an librarian a geographer liberal arts college—co-created an energy LibGuide intended to serve wider community. In this article, we detail collaborative process for creating dynamic, interdisciplinary guide. While recognizing challenges can accompany type close partnership, highlight synergistic benefits each us, potential audiences, plans continued collaboration. Projects like deepen cooperation may broaden LibGuides audience.
